Remove all furniture and baseboards from the room. Remove the existing flooring carpet, laminate or vinyl.

If you're using underlayment, roll it out across the entire floor. Trim it to fit the room's dimensions, leaving a small gap around the edges.

Decide on the direction of the planks installation. It's common to install them parallel to the longest wall in the room, but you can choose any direction that fits your design preference.

Begin in a corner of the room. Place spacers against the wall to create an expansion gap to allow the laminate to expand and contract with temperature changes. Lay the first row of planks with the tongue side facing the wall. Use the pull bar to tightly connect the planks. Keep installing row after row.

Measure and cut the last row of planks to fit using a circular saw or laminate cutter. Remember to leave an expansion gap on the last row as well.

Once the flooring is in place, reinstall or install new baseboards to cover the expansion gap around the edges of the room.

Choosing a smooth transitioning between the new floor to the rest of the house if its tile or carpet. Important to choose a good quality material.

Remove all spacers and clean the floor thoroughly. Check for any visible gaps or loose planks and fix them if necessary. Clean the rooms from dust and debris
